Destiny School of Ministry Conference

The first International Destiny School of Ministry was held in Nairobi Kenya from July 30th to August 6th.

What a  privilege to be part of the team of facilitators for the School and to have the opportunity to teach, worship and pray with them and our Kenyan brothers and sisters over the course of the 8 day event!

Each day consisted of two main morning teaching sessions, break-out workshops, multiple praise and worship sessions, an hour and a half of prophetic prayer time with those attending the school and an evening teaching session.  A full schedule to be sure!

Teaching topics included: The Character of God, Hearing God's Voice, Kingdom Culture & Worldview, Spiritual Warfare, Intimacy with God, Mentoring, Creative Arts in Worship, ABC's of Culture, Prayer, Living in God's Presence, Leaving a Legacy, Kingdom Finances, Integrity and others!

Each person attending the school received a work/note book full of teaching materials ...

....and some very practical classroom illustrations.

On Sunday, we also took a small team to visit the youth at St. Catherine's, 

which is located in the Kibera slum.

The kids really enjoyed the visit (especially the chicken!) and the

visitors got to see first hand some of the challenges the youth face 

living in a slum environment.

What's for supper? Chicken!
